This is a sincere call-out to parents to consider volunteering for the Win Ferguson PTA (Parent Teacher Association) and School Council. We have a few key executive roles still to fill for the 2019/20 year.
In the past years, the efforts of the PTA/School Council fundraising and community building activities have greatly enhanced the school experience for all students and families. It would be sad to lose this tremendous benefit to the school.
Without a PTA executive and School Council we will lose all these amazing events:
• Christmas Concert
• Christmas Gift Shop
• Halloween Dance
• Treat Sales
• Hot Lunch Program
• Club Moo
• Free year end lunch
As well as financial support for programs and class room supplies such as the beautiful new rugs that were purchased this year for Reader's Workshop.
Our last meeting of this year will be held Monday, May 27 at 6:45 pm in the Learning Commons. This is a great opportunity to experience what our meetings are all about.
