Planning for Back to School

The past year was great at Win Ferguson Community School and we're looking forward to welcoming new and returning students for 2010/2011.

Win Ferguson is now closed for the summer but will reopen again on August 30th at 8:10 AM. Please visit the school during the following times to register your children if you have not done so already.

                August 23, 24, and 25th between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM

Browse through our website for registration, calendar, program, and other information to help you plan for next year. For general information about back to school throughout Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS), visit the division website at www.eips.ca. Here, you'll also find a copy of the complete 2010/2011 EIPS' Back-to-School Guide available in August.

First day of Class

Grades 1-6 classes resume on Monday, August 30. Kindergarten classes begin on September 7th. Check out the EIPS' system calendar for a complete list of holidays and school closure days for 2010/2011. Our bell schedule is also available on our website to assist you in planning appointments for your children.

Supply Lists

As you prepare for back to school this fall, please reference our school supply lists to ensure your children have everything they need for the first day back in the classroom.

Student Transportation

Student transportation is provided at no cost to all students living greater than 2.39 km from Win Ferguson School. Families accessing payride or school-of-choice busing pay a fee for this service. General information, applicable fees, and FAQs about busing are available on the Student Transportation page of the EIPS' division website.

All families using EIPS' student transportation services should have received a letter in May outlining route information and times as well as applicable fees. We encourage parents to take advantage of the EIPS' secure online payment option to pay transportation fees. Pay before June 30 and save $25.
